Now a little bit about us:

UK Football Trials are officially the world’s largest and most successful trials company - with over 210,000 registered players in over 150 countries, we run more trail events and place more players into pro and semi pro club football trials than anyone else. We are the proud holders of the "FEEFO Gold Trusted Merchant award" for 5 years in a row by achieving 96% good or excellent independent reviews from our customers.

We exist because although the UK has one of the best scouting networks in the world, if you are not part of, or get released from the pro / semi pro club system. it can be incredibly hard to get (back) into it. Players get hugely frustrated - sending CV's and videos to clubs very rarely leads to a trial simply because the clubs get so many of them. Sadly, many clubs do not even consider any football trial applications that come direct from players. People often say that "if you are good enough you will be seen" - this is not our experience. Certainly, if you are a striker scoring 2-3 goals every game you may attract attention but very often you are relying on a scout watching your game looking for a player in your position with your style of play and, if that's not hard enough, you need to be playing well enough in the match they are watching to stand out. Is it any wonder that players who are good enough are regularly missed? 

By getting multiple scouts (always between 10-15 from Premier League to semi pro level) to all our football trial events we move the odds in your favour. All these scouts are looking for players and we give you more time to impress in both a training and match scenario. We are not saying it will be easy, and we certainly cannot promise you will be scouted, (nobody can do that!) but we are saying that those of you who think you are good enough will have a genuine chance to show it and impress multiple scouts in a quality training and match environment.

Our website has a HUGE success stories section now featuring over 400 examples of your successes and our facebook and Instagram both feature regular weekly updates on players given opportunities at clubs - you will not find other football trials companies who can do this! We have countless interviews from scouts, coaches, players and parents which you can watch and were used for the BBC programme "One Day That Changed My Life". We were featured experts in the national press including the Daily Telegraph article "Rise of the Rogue Agents", and we were used as a recruitment partner for Red Bull Tv's "Streets Don't Lie" documentary. We were also featured on  ITV National News where our players were interviewed.

Off the back of players loving the experience of our 1 day trial events, we have also created a 5 day camp experience which allows us to teach players for 4 days the skills to help you get scouted which they can put into practise on day 5 in our extended trial.

UK Football Trials have built up a scouting network which covers a huge network of clubs in the UK as well as contacts in countries across the world. It is the quantity of scouts across divisions from the Premier League to semi pro we have at our football trial events that provide the opportunities for players - we have interviewed many of them and send you their best advice free to help give you the maximum chance of being successful! 

If you're wondering how many scouts attend our football trials it can and does vary, but there will between 10-15, representing clubs at all different levels of the game to give you the maximum opportunity to get scouted. For example, we always tell older players that without a strong pro club background, it's highly unlikely (although not impossible) a Premier league or Championship or even League 1 club will be interested in them. However, by having scouts from the league two and semi pro level, we do provide opportunities at a realistic entry level. Once a player has his foot in the door, it is possible for him to get noticed and work his way up through the leagues with strong performances.

We regularly hold events across the UK with football trials in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, and also run less frequent events in Yorkshire, Essex, and other locations.

So What Can You Expect From A UK Football Trial? ​

• You will receive amazing Football Coaching and football training from UEFA qualified coach on a top quality, full size pitch.
• 75 - 90 minutes (depending on age) of session time where your coach puts you through a top-quality pro club style football training session to allow multiple scouts to assess your game.
• 30-40 minutes of match time (younger ages play small sided, older groups play 11v11) - a soccer showcase played on a full size pitch with UK Football Trials & pro club scouts watching. 
• Matches in the 15+ age group are filmed and we send you the trial footage FREE so you can watch back and share with friends and family.
• A Pro Club Coach individual feedback sheet to take away with you so you can see where you are relatively strong and where you need to improve your game.
• Post trial (approximately 1-2 weeks after trial) emailed document with the UK Football Trials decision and professional guidance on improving football technical ability, strength and conditioning, speed & agility, core stability, nutrition and how to self-assess your own game performance
• Scouted players (or parents for minors) receive introductions to the scout who has requested their details. We are committed to ensuring you get an initial contact with the scout to discuss their plans for you.

Since Brexit, players without a British Passport previously had to meet strict points-based criteria to sign with professional English clubs, regardless of their talent and skill level. However, we are thrilled to inform you that new laws have been announced, allowing players without a British passport to be signed by professional clubs!  Please be aware though that players under 16 will not be eligible to be signed (although they will be able to impress) and it should be stressed that competition for the spaces every season will be tough. It’s important that you are aware of this before spending lots of money travelling over to trials or camps!
