We have listened to the feedback of players and parents and are really pleased you all enjoyed the day and learnt something new about yourselves as players. February Trials - An excellent week!

UKFT would like to thank all of the players who attended the five trials last week. UEFA Pro Licence and UKFT Head coach John Dungworth has been extremely impressed with the attitude and commitment of all the players who attended. We understand that you were put under some pressure and tested on your mental and physical strengths. All of the results will be completed by the end of this week! We want to hear your feedback, so any thoughts on what was good or not so good, let us know: info@ukfootballtrials.com. Whoever has the best idea or suggestion will have a free trial with us in April!!

We have been informed that some players and parents don't have Paypal. Don't worry! There is a way to pay through Paypal even if you do not have a registered Paypal account. Click on "Book Event" and then click on "Paypal click here to pay". On the Paypal page click on "Don't have a Paypal Account" to pay by card. If you have any questions or need any help just ask! Glasgow trial - February 15th - coach - mark shanks

UKFT are delighted to have Mark Shanks at our Glasgow trial. Mark has been involved in the football industry in a professional capacity as either apprentice player, player, coach or manager in a full time, part time and voluntary capacity for the past thirty five years. His career includes playing for Blackburn Rovers, Motherwell, Pezoporicos (Cyprus), Ayr Utd, Dumbarton, and Queen of the South. Mark has also worked as development officer for the Scottish FA. Mark has exceptional talent identifying players with potential and ability so will be able to help UKFT offer opportunities into clubs in Scotland and England. We are delighted to have Mark at the trial!

London Croydon Trial - February 17th - Coach - Lee Harrison

UK Football Trials are delighted to announce Lee Harrison assisting as a coach and scout with John Dungworth at the Croydon Trial on February 17th! Lee started his career at Charlton and played in over 400 League and Cup games in the course of his career - 233 with Barnet where he was captain and player of the year for 3 consecutive seasons! Lee also played for Gillingham, Fulham, Leyton Orient and Peterborough United. He joined Dagenham & Redbridge as a coach for their successful play-off campaign. Lee is a UEFA "A" qualified outfield and goal keeper coach. He has links into many clubs around the Greater London area and will be looking out for talented players we can put forward. Lee provides Croydon trial players with a huge number of club opportunities and we are delighted to be working with him!

London Millhill Trial - February 13th - coach - ANDY DAVIES

UK Football Trials are delighted to have Andy Davies with John Dungworth at our trial in Millhill. Andy has worked at the top level of youth coaching for more than 15 years with an incredible 23 football qualifications to his name! His work covers coaching and development within Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town, Portsmouth, Millwall, Peterborough and Cambridge United to name a few! He has links into numerous pro clubs around England and is hugely respected in football for his player profiling and talent identifcation. If you impress Andy and John at Millhill they can open up doors to many top clubs, from Premier League sides like Arsenal to non league. We are delighted to have Andy at the trial.

MANCHESTER TRIAL - February 16th - COACH - FRANKIE BUNN

UKFT are delighted to announce Frankie Bunn as coach with John Dungworth at our Manchester Trial. Frankie was a striker who began his career at Luton Town, and later played for Hull City and Oldham Athletic. He scored 6 GOALS - STILL A LEAGUE CUP RECORD in Oldham's 7–0 victory over Scarborough in the third round of the League Cup. PAUL SCHOLES described Frankie as his favourite footballer of all time. Frankie began his coaching career at WIGAN, before joining MANCHESTER CITY as reserve team coach. He was appointed first-team coach at COVENTRY CITY, was joint caretaker manager and then first-team coach. Frankie has links with clubs all over the North of England from Premier League to non league and will be looking for talented players.

Birmingham Trial - February 14th - coach - Michael Johnson

As a former professional and international footballer, Michael made more than 550 appearances in the Premier and Football League. With 250 games for Birmingham City and more than 100 each for Notts County, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County as well as 12 caps for Jamaica. He retired as a player at the end of the 2008/09 season, and took up the post of Youth Team Manager with Notts County. Michaels list of contacts includes - Aston Villa, West Brom, Birmingham City, Derby, Notts County, Nottingham Forest, Leicester and sheffield Wednesday. Michael will be on the hunt for talented players at our Birmingham trial in February and is the ideal person to help get you a Pro club trial.

Glasgow Trial - Kilmarnock FC Scout Confirmed - William Fisher

UKFT are delighted to announce yet another scout attending the GLASGOW trial in February, to help find the talent in Scotland. William says: "I have worked with Kilmarnock F.C. as a youth coach and scout for 8 years. My remit is also to identify and secure talented footballers at all age groups for Kilmarnock F.C. Currently we have 5 or 6 teenagers in and around our first team squad but are constantly on the lookout for more talented young footballers. I am looking forward to attending Uk Football Trials Ltd open trials."

UKFT success! Two week trial for CHRIS HYDE at Spanish side Real Valladolid!

UKFT are delighted to announce the success of UKFT Player Chris Hyde who leaves next week for a two week trial in Spain with Real Valladolid Football Club. Chris attended our Manchester trial and scored extremely well on the dribbling, passing, agility and game performance tests. Chris is a former Manchester United Academy and Middlesbrough Academy player who our coach John Dungworth recommended would suit the Spanish game. UKFT have now built a link with the spanish club, who play one league below La Liga. Barcelona and Spainish International players Buscuets and Pedro were recent graduates of this league. UKFT would like to congratulate Chris and wish him all the best for his two week trial. We will hear more from Chris soon!

UK Football Trials are delighted to announce the success of a player that was spotted at our Millhill North London trial in 2011. Josiah Chukwudi aged 15 caught the eye of our Head Coach John Dungworth and QPR Scout at the trial, who went to watch Josiah at a Sunday League game after the trial. Josiah is now successfully training with QPR. However – Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have all shown interest in the UKFT star after his superb performances! It is an exciting time for Josiah and UK Football Trials congratulate him on his success so far. UK Football Trials hope that at the next 5 trials in February we find a number of similar talented players! Well Done Josiah Chukwudi!

UKFT have received confirmation that our scout attending both the North London and South London Trial will be looking for players to put forward to QPR! Impress on the day and door could open to a premiership club! One of our UKFT players from Millhill is currently trianing with QPR and we have more news on him soon. UKFT have confirmed interest from an Arsenal Football Club scout! If you impress John Dungworth at EITHER of our London Trials you will be recommended to Arsenal. Players who interest Arsenal will arrange to watch you play in your current team to assess you!

UKFT are delighted to announce that our scout contact JR Gittens will be attending both trials in London on February 13th and February 17th. At our last London trial, JR found our UKFT trialist a place at West Ham football club where he is currently training. This gives you two opportunities to impress JR and he will looking for players to send to the club! (More on the UKFT Player at West Ham soon!)

UKFT Head Coach - ALL TRIALS - John Dungworth

During his playing career John achieved 550 + League & Cup appearances and scored 130 goals. His most notable achievement was winning the Adidas Golden Boot for the most goals scored in the 1978/79 season. As Head Coach of the Leeds United Academy John brought through the likes of Paul Robinson, Jonathan Woodgate, Stephen McPhail and Alan Smith. He also has coached at a host of other top clubs. John holds a UEFA Pro Licence coaching certificate and has fantastic contacts at clubs across the country making him the perfect man to help place talented players from the trials. John will be at all of our events in February looking for undiscovered talent!

At UK Football Trials we understand that it's all about getting scouted. Unlike some companies we don't ask you to pay hundreds of pounds for a week of training or ask you to get through a trial day and then have to play in another match to prove yourself!

John Dungworth appointed as Head Coach

UK Football Trials are pleased to announce John Dungworth as our Head Coach. John has a wealth of experience and as recently as 2009 was first team coach of Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship! Our players will benefit hugely from John's experience with working with world class younger players and he has brought through the likes of England Internationals such as Paul Robinson, Jonathan Woodgate and Alan Smith.

This will mean that all players attending our events will receive the best coaching advice possible and will have the eyes of a top UEFA coach running the rule over your skills!
