What you need to know
We hold open football trials across the UK for players aged 10-28 run by some of the UK's finest UEFA licensed coaches.
It's simple - if you have the talent, we have the contacts in clubs from Premier League to Semi Pro to get you a trial. We operate in an honest and ethical way and even though the majority of players will not be at the required standard, we aim to provide all players with a great opportunity to showcase their ability in front of pro club scouts and coaches.

How does it work?
1Register for free
- Once you register it is our job to prepare you for your trial
- So... We give you £50 of FREE info and reveal what you should eat, drink, what the scouts / coaches look for, drills to work on and what to expect as some of our successful players share their stories and experiences to inspire you.
Why do we do this for free?
- For players and parents to be prepared in the best possible way and to decide if our service is right for them, we need to provide clear, honest, useful information.
- We want all players and parents to have access to FREE information and advice to help educate them. If you have questions then contact us and we will be happy to help!
Why we exist
- Firstly because we care. We believe that every player in the world deserves an opportunity to be scouted and if they are good enough, to get the chance they deserve.
- Some players need a chance because they live in remote areas where pro scouts will never get to while some players will have been held back by poor coaching or team style of play.
- Other players need a second chance having been released from clubs too soon. Whatever the reason, if our experts think you are good enough , we can help.
- We believe there are players all over the world who just need that chance to shine - so we provide a fun, professional trial experience at an affordable price.
2Book your trial securely

- UK Football Trials send you a confirmation email with information about the trial day at least one week before the trial day starts.
3Attend the trial
Ages 10 to 14 assessment over 2 hours
- Work with one coach on one third of a superb pro level full size 3G pitch
- 75 minutes of assessment by world class UEFA licenced coach with Pro Club experience
- Get assessed and graded on 10 criteria with same day feedback to help you improve!
- 45 minutes of small sided match on one third of a full size pitch with UK Football Trials & pro club scouts
- Superb booklet with feedback help, drills, how to improve and nutritional advice included!
Ages 15+ assessment over 3 hours
- Work with one coach on one third of a top quality, pro level, FULL SIZE 3G pitch
- 90 minutes of session time with a superb UEFA licenced coach with Pro Club experience
- Undergo a pro club session - Dynamic warm up, high tempo, visual assessment from scouts
- 40 minutes of 11 vs 11 match on a full size pitch with UK Football Trials & pro club scouts watching
- Pro Club testing of Speed & Agility with same day results to take away with you
- Document with professional guidance. You should have the technical ability so we help you understand these areas and also show you how to improve other crucial areas including strength and conditioning, speed & agility, core stability, nutrition and how to self assess your own game performance
4Feedback and selection: What happens next?
- Within 7 days of the last trial day, we send you an email with our decision on whether you have been selected to go forward to a pro club trial based on your performance seen by the UK Football Trials Scout, Pro Club Scouts and the UK Football Trials Coaches.
- Selected players are contacted at the same time by one of our team. They will put you into a club we believe is right for your ability, location and discuss your options.
- If you are successful at a Pro Club - we have a VERY CAREFULLY SELECTED, full time FA Licenced & FIFA Registered agent to help & support you with your decisions.
- We always get asked "How do UK Football Trials get players into clubs?" We have HUNDREDS of contacts within pro clubs who TRUST and RESPECT our UEFA coaches' opinions. We are like SUPER scouts for you!
Terms & Conditions
UKFT MEANS UK FOOTBALL TRIALS.
Booking
- Once your payment has been accepted, your confirmation email will be sent confirming your place at your chosen trial day from PayPal.
- Booking must be made through the secure PayPal system on UKFT's website
- Cash payments on the day will not be accepted
- UKFT will send a confirmation email closer to the trial date with more information about the trial day and messages from the coaches.
- UKFT have the right to reject a booking for players that are abusive or threatening to UKFT staff, coaches or associated partners through social media, or any other form of correspondence.
Refunds and cancellation procedure
- UK Football Trials will review the circumstances of each individual refund request.
- Refunds will not be given to players who fail to show up to the event or arrive late
- Refunds will not be given to players who provide UKFT with less than 14 days notice of changes of circumstances.
- Injuries sustained to any player before a trial that results in them not being able to attend must be reported to UK Football Trials via email, 48 hours before the start date. We would advise players to rest 48 hours before the trial date.
- UK Football Trials cannot offer refunds to players who are injured during the trial day.
- All refund requests must be made in writing via email
- Once payment has been made, unless the refund request is due to the fault of UK Football Trials, UK Football Trials has the right to decline refund requests.
- All refunds will be made through PayPal and customers will be notified when this has been completed.
- To cancel your booking or to change your chosen trial day, you must contact us via email 14 days before the trial day to be eligible to transfer your place to a different trial event.
Trial Days
- UKFT reserve the right to change the date and location of any trial day. Any changes to the trial days will be notified to all attendees and your reserved place will be completely transferable.
- If UKFT have to cancel any trial days due to weather or any other reason, UKFT is not responsible for any costs involved in any travel arrangements or accommodation.
- UKFT have the final decision on selecting players to put forward.
- UKFT will represent any players being put forward to a club and will represent the players best interest, if a club wants to sign a player on a professional contract then UKFT will provide a carefully selected, trusted and honest FA Registered Agent and FA Registered Lawyer to assist players and parents / guardians to make sure that they player gets all the support they need and the best deal for their circumstances
Child Protection
- All coaches who run our trial days will have all the relevant qualifications including Child Protection Certificates and CRB checks.
Insurance
- UKFT do not provide any personal injury insurance cover to any players that attend the trial days. Players should contact their relevant County FA for information on where they can acquire personal insurance.
- UKFT will not accept any responsibility or liability for any loss or theft of possessions at the trial day
